250 or less than 250 members Coop Housing Society Final Election Rules notified on 07.04.2021

 Dear Readers,

The much awaited Final aelection Rules for CHS with 250 or less members is finally notified by the Coop.Dept on 7th April 2021. These rules were required to conduct the elections of 250 or less member CHS in accordance with the newly amended MCS Act 1960 whereby a seperate housing chapter is inserted in the patent MCS Act 1960.

Dear Readers and Coop Auditors, 

Pls access the MH Ordinance Dtd.02.11.2020 further amending Maharashtra Coop Societies Act 1960 - Sec.65 and Sec.75 on Powers to Managing Committee and Boards of Coop Societies . 

With this ordinance the MH Govt has come out with another sensational Amendment to the MH Coop Societies Act 1960 thereby extending the general body powers to Managing Committee or boards for crucial matters like 

👉Disposal of Surplus in Fy 2020-21,

👉 Approval of Budget for next Financial year and 

 👉Appointment of Auditor for fy 2020-21

 ✔️subject to ratification in Annual General Meeting .

Audit AGM & Election MCS Act 1960 ordinance dtd 28.10.2020

Dear Readers and Coop Auditors , 

The much awaited ordinance amending the MCS Act 1960 extending the Audit completion due date, AGM date and Elections in Coop Societies is issued on 28.10.2020 . 

Accordingly, the coop societies in MH shall  get it's accounts audited for fy 2019-20 on or before 31st Dec.2020 as against 31st July 2020 .

The AGM for fy 2019-20 shall  be conducted on or before 31st March 2021 as against 30.09.2020.

The existing committee is deemed to have continued till the regular elections of new committee where Elections to the societies could not be conducted for the reasons beyond the control of the societies .
